  • This year’s theme is ‘Magnified,’ taken from Psalm 34:3 which states, “Oh, magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together!” Kids will be challenged to look closer at the intricate details of God's creation while learning how big God is. Through the discovery of God's beautiful creation, kids will leave VBS knowing they were made to magnify God! This theme will be reinforced throughout all the activities kids will engage in throughout VBS, including Bible lessons, songs, arts & crafts, and even snacks!

  • Drop off your kids by 9:30 every morning, and pick them up around 4:15! Parents can feel free to join in our morning & evening common assemblies, so feel free to take a seat in the sanctuary if you’re a little early during either drop off or pick up!

When you drop and pick up your children each day, there will be a designated NWIC VBS Volunteer at the entrance who will check your kid in when the day begins and check them out when the day ends. This is also where your child will receive their lanyard with their name on it at the beginning of the day. A parent or guardian must be present for check in and check out, so please walk your child in, and come back in at the end of the day to walk them out!

  • Kids will begin the day in the main sanctuary with the morning common assembly time - they will begin each day with prayer, singing songs, learning about mission work happening globally, and engage in other fun team activities for the whole group! Then, kids will disperse into various stations and will get to engage in crafts, games, snacks, and songs throughout the day! They will regroup after lunch for evening common assembly, and then go back to more stations to finish off the day!

  • Bring your Bible along with a water bottle & an extra pair of clothes, along with anything else you may think you need, such as sunscreen. On day 1 of VBS, you will receive your packet for all the Bible lessons, and a lanyard. Make sure you bring those back each day as well since you’ll need them for your activities! Once you sign your kids up, we will be in touch and email you more details as to what to bring for each day.
